Living Incurably With Lost Income & Late-In-the-Season Perennial Decorations

As I’m sure many of you know, it can be so frustrating to lose income due to chronic illness.  Besides feeling crappy about yourself, you can’t buy the things you want.  So what can we do?  We can find new ways to make money.  And we can find ways to live on less.  In this spirit, I have been exploring http://www.flexjobs.com to see if there were any jobs I could do at home.  Once I’ve been able to form an opinion, I’ll let you know if it’s worth the $15.00 membership fee.  As far as being frugal, I decided this year was the year I would purchase perennial decorations at the end of their season, when they’re 50% to 75% off.  This went very well the other day at Rite Aid, when I picked up a prescription, a $19.99 wreath and a $12.99 wall hanging for just $10.88!  I had to wait all season, but I’ll enjoy them for the end of the season and be all ready for autumn next year.  #YayForSelfControl  #ItsHarderThanItSeems
